Pakistan gave a good account of their bowling strength in their first warm-up game, stifling a powerful West Indies line-up to 130 and then chased down the score with 27 balls to spare. Barring Shaheen Afridi, who conceded 41 runs from his four overs, other Pakistan bowlers were on the money. Hasan Ali, continuing his great comeback, took 2 for 21 while spinners Imad Wasim bowled miserly spells. West Indies couldn't break out of their shackles with only Kieron Pollard hitting five consecutive fours off the 20th over bowled by Haris Rauf to give the total some respectability.
Pakistan were professional with their chase with Babar Azam typically anchoring one end with a 41-ball 50. Fakhar Zaman slotted in at three and slammed an unbeaten 24-ball 46. For West Indies, Hayden Walsh picked up two wickets but was taken apart by Zaman and conceded at an economy of 11.7
Brief scores: West Indies 130/7 in 20 overs (Shimron Hetmyer 28, Kieron Pollard 23; Hasan Ali 2-21, Haris Rauf 2-32) lost to Pakistan 131/3 in 15.3 overs (Babar Azam 50, Fakhar Zaman 46; Hayden Walsh 2-41) by seven wickets.
